GENERAL PURPOSE

 

The Office of Human Resources and Talent Development (HRTD) strives to make Stafford County Public Schools (SCPS) the employer of choice for instructional, administrative, and service employees in pursuit of the strategic goals of the school division. Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Staffing, the Staffing Specialist is responsible for conducting the onboarding process for a designated group of employees, which may include licensed, service, and/or hourly employees. The Staffing Specialist will also serve as a staffing business partner to a designated group of administrators and hiring managers, and assist administrators in monitoring ongoing eligibility and managing performance of employees.
